She has done her Bharatnatyam from Faculty of Performing arts, M.S University, Vadodara under the able guidance of Shri CV Chandrashekhar.
She has also got her folk dance training from Late Ms Pratibha Pandit, a renowned dancer. Ms Desai has travelled widely in India and countries like Russia, Dubai, Baltica, European countries, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Hongkong etc for cultural exchange festival and given many performances through the Indian Council for Cultural Relations.
She has also performed in the Dance Sequences of the famous ‘Ramayan” TV serial.
Taken part in the Inter state cultural festival at New Delhi under International youth programme and won 2nd position. Also performed at the FICCI Annual Conference held at New Delhi, invited by Shri Vasant Sathe, Honourable minister for Energy.
Performed for the Gujarat Gaurav Diwas, 1st May, organized by Ministry of Sports and Cultural Affairs, Govt. of Gujarat.
Has won many prizes during the Navratri Festival, for the best Garba dancer.
Worked as a teacher with St. Kabir a reputed school of Vadodara as a cultural coordinator.
At present imparting knowledge to the students of Tejas Vidyalaya, Vadodara.
